David Zincavage was born in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He attended college and lived for most of his adult life in New England.  He has worked in simulations, and operated Information Technology, real estate, and business services companies. He is married, and currently resides in Northern Virginia.

He is administrator of the LITHUANIA [Lithuanian Genealogy], and founder and list owner or administrator of the HERBARZ [Polish-Lithuanian Heraldry and Armigerous Genealogy], ShenHist [Shenandoah, Pennsyvania], and MahanoyFS [Mahanoy City, Pennsulvania] lists. 

He also published a blog, titled Never Yet Melted.
